Our verified Rust template starts with 8 GB of memory and recommends 10 GB. Change world size, seed, server name, description and save interval in the portal.

A dedicated RCON port is available for remote administration. Query and Rust App connectivity are preconfigured too.

Start in four steps

From plan to spawn.

  1. Choose Rust and the required slot count.

  2. Let the platform provision the server.

  3. Set map, seed, name and RCON password in the portal.

  4. Open Rust, find the server or connect through IP and game port.

Before the first wipe

A few decisions save work later.

Keep world size realistic
Larger maps need more memory and processing time. Match the map to the number of players you actually expect.
Secure the RCON password
Use a long unique password and share it only with administrators.
Back up before wipes and plugins
Save the world and configuration before changing maps or the modding framework.
