What you get

A world that keeps going without you.

On a dedicated server your world stays online, and anyone in your group can join at any time. Nobody has to keep their own PC running as host.

In the customer portal you set the telnet/admin password and auto-update. All other game rules go in the serverconfig.xml as usual, which you edit in the file manager or via SFTP.

Good to know

To keep the server running smoothly.

Rules live in the serverconfig.xml
Difficulty, day length, blood moon rhythm and other rules are set in the serverconfig.xml. Make a backup in the portal before bigger changes.
Restart after changes
The server reads its configuration on start. After a change, restart it once.
Restart regularly
One scheduled restart per day at a quiet hour keeps the server stable. You create it in the portal under tasks.
