How to read this comparison
We compare our own products with each other, not us with others.
Most decisions are really one question: how much do I want to configure myself? A game server is set up, a VPS is an empty machine, web hosting delivers an environment for websites, mail hosting focuses on mailboxes.
That is why we only compare what we offer ourselves. We do not rate competitors because we do not measure their offers continuously and do not want to show you outdated numbers. Our own prices come live from the shop and therefore match the checkout.
When in doubt: game server for a game, web hosting for a website, VPS for everything beyond.

- You want to run a game server
- Take a game server. The game is prepared, you configure through the portal and need no Linux knowledge.
- You want to run a website with WordPress
- Take web hosting. PHP, database, SSL and backups are prepared. A VPS would be more work with no benefit.
- You need email addresses on your domain
- For a few addresses web hosting is enough, for teams, aliases and calendar take mail hosting.
- You run your own software, a bot or an API
- Take a VPS. You install freely what you need and carry the responsibility for the system.
- You run a gaming community
- Combine game server, domain, web hosting and mail. Community hosting shows an example with prices.
- You want to be able to switch later
- All services can be cancelled monthly, domains can be taken along with the auth code at any time.

The most common decision.
- Game server
- A ready-made solution for one game: installation, updates and console are prepared. You configure and play.
- VPS
- An empty machine with root. Sensible when you run several services, use your own software or want full control of the system.
- Rule of thumb
- One game, little effort: game server. Everything else and full control: VPS.

Web hosting or VPS?
The second most common decision.
- Web hosting
- An environment for websites. We take care of server, updates and platform security, you take care of your site.
- VPS
- You take care of everything, from the operating system to the firewall. In return you are free in software and configuration.
- Rule of thumb
- For websites, blogs, WordPress and club sites web hosting is enough. A VPS pays off when you run something web space cannot.

What is the difference between a game server and a VPS?
A game server is a ready-made solution for one game with console, file manager and mod installer. A VPS is an empty virtual machine with root access on which you set up everything yourself.

Is web hosting enough for WordPress?
Yes. Web hosting brings PHP, database, SSL and backups, which is what WordPress needs. You only need a VPS for special cases.

Do I need mail hosting if my web hosting has mailboxes?
For a few addresses web hosting is enough. Mail hosting pays off when you need more mailboxes, aliases, more storage per mailbox or features such as calendar and shared inbox.

Can I combine products?
Yes, in one account. Game server, VPS, web hosting, mail hosting and domain can be combined freely and cancelled individually.

Why do you not compare with other providers?
Because we only show numbers we can back up ourselves. Our prices come live from the shop. Other offers change constantly and an outdated comparison table would be dishonest.

Yes. The VAT note sits right at the price.
